Terms & Conditions

About These Terms

These terms apply to services provided by The Key Man Auto Locksmith, a mobile automotive locksmith based in Wishaw, Scotland. By asking us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

We provide mobile automotive locksmith services including car key replacement, spare keys, key programming, key cutting, remote key repair and battery replacement, emergency vehicle entry and ignition barrel services.

We are a mobile service. We attend your location rather than operating from a shop or garage.

Vehicle Compatibility

Not every service is possible on every vehicle. Coverage varies by make, model, year and the type of key or system fitted. We will always tell you what is and is not possible for your vehicle before starting work.

Pricing & Quotations

Pricing depends on the vehicle, the type of key and the work required. Any quote we give is based on the information you provide. If, once we see the vehicle, the work needed differs from what was described, we will tell you and confirm before proceeding.

Service Area

We cover Wishaw, Motherwell, Hamilton, Bellshill, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Larkhall, Carluke, Lanark, Shotts, East Kilbride, Blantyre, Bothwell, Uddingston, Cumbernauld, Glasgow and surrounding areas. Please contact us to check availability in your location — travel distance may affect whether we can attend.

Emergency Vehicle Entry

Where possible we use non-destructive techniques for vehicle entry. However, some vehicles cannot be opened without risk of damage, and in those cases we will explain the position before proceeding. Any such decision remains yours.

Liability

We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage to your vehicle that we did not cause. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by phone or email so we can make the slot available to someone else.
